UC Christmas Party 2007 • University of Cebu

The ever-increasing UC community gathered at the Main Campus’ activity center on December 21, 2007 to celebrate the annual Christmas Party. Despite the last-minute changing of venue, the get-together was a merry mix of all employees sans their spouses and children because of space constraint.

Entertaining dance and song numbers from the faculty and non-teaching staff were a-plenty. The songs rendered by the emcees Ms. Ana Trazona of UCB and Mr. Marlon Montecillo of UCLM.

Like the parties of Christmases past, the night showcased the generosity of the President and the Chancellor, with huge TV sets, bags of goodies, and P500 bills raffled off to the lucky winners.

During his speech, UC President Atty. Augusto W. Go reiterated his confidence in the UC workforce, saying, “I am very proud of you and I am not ashamed to walk with you in the future,” after enumerating 2007’s events and achievements.
Apart from the sumptuous dinner, UC employees went home each with a sack of rice.
