The Philippine Mount Everest Team graced the grounds of UC in the afternoon of November 23, 2007.

Composed of Heradio “Leo” Oracion, Fred Jamili, Erwin Emata, Dr. Ted Esguerra, Noelle Wenceslao, Karina Dayondon and Arturo Valdes (the head of the team), gave an audio visual presentation of their epic efforts to conquer the world’s highest mountain. Their message of hope and optimism were addressed to the students of the Colleges of Computer and Allied Engineering, Information Technology, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management and the High School Department.

Mr. Cedric Jesus Lucero emceed the gathering. The affair was organized by the UC Council of Presidents (UCCP) under the umbrella of the Office of the Student Affairs.

After the forum at the Alicia Gotianuy building AVR, the Philippine Mt. Everest Team toured the Main Campus and willingly posed for photo opportunities with the students.
