50 students have been granted scholarships via the Memorandum of Agreement entered into by UC and the Inter-orient Navigation Company (INC), a Cyprus-based international shipping company.

25 deck and 25 marine engineering students are given full scholarships that include tuition, board and lodging. Mr. Themis Papadopoulus, INC chief executive officer and his lovely wife personally came over for the MOA signing. They were very impressed with the newly constructed UC-I Building and its modern facilities in the METC campus.
