thumb2A group of dancers from the University of Cebu recently participated in the Wonju Dynamic Dance Festival in Gangwon-do, a province in South Korea. The festival, which kicked off last September 16, featured a variety of dance and music performances by Korean and foreign acts. The University of Cebu Dance Company impressed the predominantly South Korean crowd with their Sinulog-inspired number, with the dancers wearing red and gold costumes. Sinulog is a cultural and religious festival in the Philippines that honors the Santo Niño or the Child Jesus.
