Objectives – Bachelor of Secondary Education

Deeply concerned with the preparation of globally competitive teachers imbued with holistic ideals, aspirations and traditions of Philippine life, the Bachelor of Secondary Education aims to produce graduates who can:

  • teach effectively in Secondary education in their respective areas of specialization using the productive pedagogies and appropriate tools in instruction;
  • use English effectively as a medium of instruction for international understanding;
  • Instill sound social, cultural, and moral values to their prospective learners;
  • perform the expected roles and responsibilities of teachers;
  • submit research-based outputs
  • pass the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET);
  • participate actively in community building especially in their areas of assignment.

Objectives – Bachelor of Elementary Education

Deeply concerned with the preparation of globally competitive teachers imbued with holistic ideals, aspirations and traditions of Philippine life, the Bachelor of Elementary Education aims to produce graduates who:

  1. can teach effectively in the grade school using the productive pedagogies and appropriate tools in instruction;
  2. can use mother tongue language effectively in teaching the different learning areas in the first three years in Grade School;
  3. can use English effectively as the medium of instruction in oral and written communication;
  4. can instill sound social, cultural, and moral values to their prospective learners;
  5. can perform the expected roles and responsibilities of teachers;
  6. can submit research‐based outputs;
  7. can surpass the national passing percentage in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in the next three (3) years; and
  8. can actively participate in community building especially in their areas of assignment.
