This is to remind everyone that on November 30, 2017 (Thursday), is declared a Regular Holiday throughout the country in commemoration of the 154th Birthday of Andres Bonifacio through Presidential Proclamation No. 50, s. 2016.
Born on 30 November 1863, Bonifacio is considered as the Father of the Philippine Revolution against Spanish colonization. He, along with some others, started a movement known as the ‘Katipunan’ in 1892. The Katipunan was a secret revolutionary society that instigated military revolts against the Spanish colonizers.
Therefore, there will be “NO WORK, NO CLASSES” on this day.
