Twenty-five years after UC-Banilad opened its doors in 2002, its graduates are preparing to come home.
Alumni officers and graduates gathered on September 12, 2026, at the College of Tourism MICE to form a core group and begin planning for UC-Banilad’s first Grand Alumni Homecoming.
Leading the gathering were Alumni President Mr. Cydar Alexis Oraiz, Vice President Niño Ardiza, and Treasurer Kara Kristine Tao, joined by Criminology Dean Daniebel Borbon and fellow alumni from different batches.
The gathering served as an initial planning session for the proposed homecoming, with alumni sharing ideas and discussing possible activities, organizational matters, and preparations for bringing together graduates from across UC-Banilad’s history.
A core group was formed during the meeting to help spearhead the preparations and coordinate with alumni as plans for the grand gathering move forward.
The proposed homecoming seeks to reconnect graduates who have taken different paths since leaving UC-Banilad while strengthening the alumni network and renewing their connection with their alma mater.
As UC-Banilad approaches its 25th year, its alumni are taking the first steps toward a celebration that will bring generations of graduates back to where their journeys began.
