12 University of Cebu Banilad BSTM and BS HM students are bound to Bulgaria from February 28 to May 2022 for an all-expense paid program in Bulgaria under UC and Varna University of Management’s international partnership. They were met by UC President Atty. Augusto Go last February 14, 2022.
The project is under International Credit Mobility sponsored by Erasmus+ program of the European Union. This is a partnership of University of Cebu and Varna University of Management of Bulgaria. The Erasmus+ program fully finances all the students’ visa processing, airfares, food, board and lodging, and insurance. Under this program, the students will be enrolled in VUM for a semester. The subjects will then be credited in
their UC curriculum.
The students going to Bulgaria are the following:

The students will depart on February 28, 2022.
Addressing the students, AWG said, “I want you to enjoy the country’s culture and learn so much from the people and their way of life. I congratulate you for being excellent students and for being the UC representative for this International Credit Mobility Program.” AWG also handed USD 1000 from his personal fund for the students to use to enjoy their flight and their stay in Bulgaria.
Dean Ofelia Maña, UC Vice-Chancellor, also imparted words of wisdom to the students. “Always take care of yourselves there. Never hesitate to communicate with us if you have concerns or questions.
