
The University of Cebu’s Graduate School launched its UC Talks’ podcast episode on Erasmus+
TRUST Project last July 27, 2022. The episode looked into what makes the master’s program
unique and discusses some of the expected and unexpected outcomes of the curriculum.
In the 50-minute podcast episode, Mr. Jove Tapiador, Dr. Ilaria Reggiani, and Dr. Yolanda
Sayson offered insights on Financial Technology, the TRUST Project, and the Master programs
(Master in Business Administration Major in Financial Technology and Master in Business
Administration – Modernised Master Program) offered by the Graduate School of the
University of Cebu. Through the moderator, Mr. Francis Jose Lean Abayata, the guests
examined relevant topics such as the purpose of FinTech Master’s Education, the impact
Financial Technology has on a person and business/organization, the design of the UC-
Erasmus+ Master degree programs, the necessity of being relevant through Financial
Technology, and much more.
Former President of FinTech Association of the Philippines, Mr. Jove Tapiador, discussed the
basics of FinTech, relevant concerns and issues in the Philippines, and how FinTech addresses
such.
Erasmus+ TRUST Project Coordinator, Dr. Elaria Reggiani, talked about the focus of the TRUST
Project and who the program serves.
University of Cebu Vice Chancellor for Academics for General Education, Dr. Yolanda Sayson,
discussed the two new graduate degree programs that the university is offering.
The podcast captivated the interest of a lot of listeners to enroll in the new Financial
Technology programs.
