Last July 9, 2019, Ambassador Han-Dong-Man visited University of Cebu-Banilad for a Korea-Philippine Relations Forum. Attended by at least 100 UC students, the forum highlighted the peace and security in Korean Peninsula and the Philippines. His Excellency pointed out the significant relationship the Philippines and Korean government has established through the years has been growing in numerous aspects. In his presentation, the ambassador discussed that among the cities visited by Koreans every year, Cebu tops the list.
In attendance were Atty. Augusto W. Go, President of University of Cebu and UC Banilad key personnel. Atty. Go also shared his story of how Korea managed to rise from the rubbles of war and how it reflects the resiliency of the Filipinos.
