For the University of Cebu (UC), systemic collaboration is crucial in nurturing students’ engagement and strengthening its brand for internationalization. With the UC-FRIENDS Final Report Card Day 2022, the attendees who were members of the university’s Management and Operations committee, administrators, and students, participated and took the effort of evaluating the UC-FRIENDS Final Report Card Day Evaluation Form.
Organized by the UC FRIENDS Team, the UC-FRIENDS Final Report Card Day 2022 was held last August 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM in UC-Banilad’s Bloomberg Laboratory. The event presented and reviewed the determined policies, practices, and other actions that can support the meaningful and safe conduct of the UC-FRIENDS established and planned activities.
Different academic and non-academic departments participated in the event. It took stock of the UC-FRIENDS rationale, activities done, and practices that UC implemented to encourage the improvement of the FRIENDS Project.
The discussions highlighted areas of coordination and collaboration where all institution’s strategic levels can work together to nurture the spirit of innovation and collaboration among personnel and students even in a crisis or not. With the collaboration of other departments supporting the UC-FRIENDS initiative, the FRIENDS Final Report Card Day 2022 presented an opportunity for future sustainable activities and conversations on internationalization at home and intercultural competence.
