It has been three weeks since the Philippines started the face-to-face classes but
our Ati students in Cebu do not have school supplies yet. With this, the University
of Cebu conducted a Balik-Eskwela or Back-to-School outreach activity with our
various partners as part of the Project ATI. We were able to provide complete set
of school supplies to 150 Ati students (Kindergarten to College). According to
Chieftain Lilia Sanger, the entire Ati Indigenous Cultural Community is very
grateful to University of Cebu and FRIENDS Project because all Ati students
received their school supplies. This will surely inspire the young learners to study.
