The Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management Philippines (A-PAD) in cooperation with UCLM CARES conducted a Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Climate Change Adaptation Seminar on February 25, 2023, at the Golden Prince Hotel, Cebu City. The seminar was attended by the UCLM CARES Director Dr. Richie L. Montebon and student volunteers. Resource speakers of the said seminar were Mr. Rhafael Luche from the Office of Civil Defense of Region VII and EuP Emmanuel Crucio from Mandaue CDDRRMO.
The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Climate Change Adaptation seminar aims to equip volunteers with the right knowledge, skills, and attitude on DRRM and to strengthen the disaster response capacities of local communities’ disaster human resources.
