Ole Karsten Halvorsen, Senior Competence Manager of Höegh Evi, visited the University of Cebu–Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue (UCLM) on September 14, 2026.
Halvorsen visited the campus for a meeting with Höegh Evi cadets and a tour of the university’s maritime facilities.
He was welcomed by Atty. Manuel Elijah Sarausad, UC Executive Vice Chancellor; Dr. Anna Liza B. Son, Campus Director; Engr. Jacklyn Descartin, Associate-CAD for Maritime; Capt. Ronelio Tisoy, Dean of the College of Maritime Education; and other maritime officials.
Höegh Evi, formerly known as Höegh LNG, is a global energy infrastructure company specializing in floating energy infrastructure, including Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRUs).
