Aligning with this year's theme, "From Policy to Practice: Empowering Maritime Excellence," Regional Director Engr. Ronaldo P. Bandalaria highlighted the crucial bridge between regulatory intent and daily operational reality.

True maritime excellence is not measured solely by compliance on paper, but by the tangible habits, safety culture, and everyday standards practiced by seafarers, shipowners, and administrators alike.

By demanding that policy inherently encompasses practice, the maritime sector commits to converting high-level standards into lived, operational excellence, ensuring safer voyages and stronger institutional integrity across the region.
