In partnership with Shearwater Health, Inc., University of Cebu gave out 29 scholarships to 29 senior nursing students from Banilad, Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue and Pardo and Talisay Colleges of Nursing. These students will no longer be paying any school expenses as it will be shouldered by the University and Shearwater Health.
Last September 7, 2022, Shearwater Health and University of Cebu held a formal Ceremonial Pinning and Scholarship Awards Ceremony to the students who qualified for the program at UC-Banilad Junior Science High School Auditorium.
