The University of Cebu (UC) Banilad College of Nursing welcomed Japanese visitors from Setsunan University in Osaka, Japan, on March 7, 2025. The faculty and students were given a glimpse of the skills laboratory and teaching practices of the university headed by the Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Merci Milagros B. Apuhin.
The visit not only highlighted possible cultural exchange but also facilitated discussions on differences between nursing universities in the Philippines and Japan. During the half-day meet-and-greet at the Nursing Seminar Room, a possible Memorandum of Agreement for future employment opportunities, both local and abroad, was also discussed.
